Under the shade of the feijoa trees offers a representative sample of Hayley Ann Solomon’s particular brand of emotionally resonant short stories. The styles and intensities vary extensively, but the common denominator is humanity in all its complexity, woven with philosophy.

Hayley Ann Solomon
HAYLEY SOLOMON is an author and poet living on the South island of New Zealand. She double-majored in Psychology and English, later graduating with an Honours Baccalaureus Bibliothecologiae followed by a Masters of Arts degree. She worked as an academic librarian for many years, switching career paths when her first novel was accepted for publication. Poetry is Hayley’s first passion as a writer. She finds the discipline of succinctness intertwined with substantive expression challenging.
