莱斯•马雷 Les Murray

Les Murray, born October 1938, is a prominent Australian poet who has published 16 poetry collections since 1965. Some of his collections have been published in translation, notably in German, Dutch, Danish, Norwegian, Swedish, French, Italian, Slovenian, Macedonian and Spanish. Prominent prizes in English that have come his way home have included the Petrarch Prize, the T. S. Eliot Prize, Queen’s Gold Medal for Poetry and the Mondello Prize in Italy. 莱斯．马雷，著名澳洲诗人，1965 年开始发表诗歌，至今出版超过16 本诗集。他居住在新南威尔士州本雅乡的农场，即是他出生的地方。马雷的诗曾被翻译成德文,荷兰文,丹麦文,挪威文,瑞典文,法文,意大利文,斯洛文尼亚文,马其顿文和西班牙文等，在世界各地出版，并赢得许多国际诗歌奖，包括「格蕾丝利文诗歌奖」,「皮特拉克诗歌奖」,「英国皇后诗歌金章」,「T.S.艾略特诗歌奖」,「意大利蒙德约国际诗歌奖」等。
