Kim Hyesoon received her Ph.D. in Korean Literature from Konkuk University. She has published ten poetry collections including: Poor Love Machine (1997), A Glass of Red Mirror (2004), and Sorrowtoothpaste Mirrorcream (2011). Her poetry collections have been translated into English, including Mommy Must be a Fountain of Feathers (2008), and All the Garbage of the World, Unite! (2011). She has received numerous literary prizes including the Kim Su-yong Literary Award (1997), the Sowol Poetry Literature Award (2000) and the Midang Literature Award (2006). 金惠顺，生于南韩，在建国大学取得韩国文学博士学位。她从1979 年就开始发表诗歌，在杂志《文学与文智》上发表了〈诗人抽烟〉等五首诗，此后她出版了十本诗集，包括《首尔，我的 奥义书》(1994),《可怜的爱情机器》(1997),《给日历工厂经理》(2000),《一杯红玻璃》(2004),《你的第一次》(2008),《忧郁牙膏和玻璃镜奶油》(2011)等。她的诗也被翻译成英文出版：《妈妈肯定是一个羽毛喷泉》(2008) 和《全世界的垃圾，联合起来！》(2011)。她赢得的奖项包括「金洙暎文学奖」(1997),「素月诗文学奖」(2000),「未堂文学奖」(2006)等。金惠顺现居首尔，于首尔艺术大学教授创意写作。
