韋艾克（Eric Wishart）曾任總部位於巴黎的國際通訊社法國新聞社總編輯，現任該社標準與倫理編輯。他曾是美國專業新聞記者協會倫理委員會成員。憑藉逾50年的豐富經驗，他於香港大學及香港浸會大學教授新聞學。
林少予曾在台灣的《中國時報》與《聯合報》系工作，派駐台北、紐約與三藩市三地擔任多種新聞採編職務。在他廿餘年的新聞生涯中，大部分時間負責國際要聞與外交新聞。採訪經歷很多，但是記得的細節有限，迄今無法刪除的是第一次波斯灣戰爭期間目睹家毀、人亡的殘影斷片，以及同時竄入耳鼻的嚎哭聲和濃重的煙硝味。他目前在一家學術出版社擔任編輯。
