《擬題語誤和語意表達》一書是《香港母語教育系列》的首部著作，是香港大學母語教學教師支援中心的研究和實踐的成果，目的是推廣優質的母語教育。本書研究的語料來自二十多所剛轉用母語授課的學校，蒐集了八千多道的初中各科試題，運用“中介語”和“轉換”理論，作語誤分析研究，研究結果充分反映了剛轉用母語授課的初中教師的擬題語文水平。本書旨在找出教師擬題時的語誤類別,成因和改善方法，並探究“粵普中介語”和“英中轉換”的語言現象。本書研究語料都來自學校，配合嚴謹的研究法，可說學術和實用價值兼備。可作為各師資培訓機構提升學員語文水平的參考教材，也可作為校本培訓和教師閒餘的自學讀本。

謝錫金

謝錫金香港大學中文系學士及碩士畢業，中文大學教育文憑及文學碩士（教育）畢業，英國諾丁咸大學哲學博士，資深中文教師，曾任教中學及大學接近四十年，現任香港大學教育學院副院長，並兼任中文教育研究中心總監。袁妙霞　　澳洲昆士蘭大學文學士，曾任教師，長期從事兒童圖書編輯工作，體會到閱讀在孩子成長和學習過程中的重要性。近年致力創作，希望透過有益有趣的故事，提高孩子的閱讀技巧和能力，並為家長和孩子們提供愉快的親子閱讀經驗。
